3 Minute Retreat: We are Christ’s Presence

March 22, 2013

Today, I am writing over at 3 minute retreat.  Today’s retreat invites us to reflect on how we are Christ’s presence in the world.  As I pondered that question, I kept thinking about how Chris and I are called in marriage to be Christ for each other.

Christmas 2012 239

Marriage calls me to sacramental living, which means I am an active participant in revealing Christ’s presence in this world not only to my husband, but also to those who witness our love as a married couple. Showing Christ’s love through our relationship to each other, to our children, and to those who witness our marriage is something we can do only through being in relationship with Christ.

How do you experience being Christ for others?

Who has been Christ for you?
