A recent quote I read:
“A closed person lives on a ‘flat earth’. The open-minded person lives in an ever-expanding mystery.”
From Margaret Silf’s Compass Points.
It makes me think. Am I a closed person who lives on a flat earth? Am I a person who is not willing to see the potential beyond the horizon? Or am I an open person who is willing to accept the ever-expanding mystery in my life? Am I a person who is willing to trust that there is something amazing beyond the horizon I can currently see?
Which are you?
