Give and Recieve More Love

June 15, 2011

Ignatius’ Examen teaches us to engage daily in prayer and review the day. Ultimately, the Examen is an incredible tool for discernment. In a nutshell, it helps us become aware of what and who in our lives helps us give and receive love.

As we reflect on who and what helps us give and receive more love, we begin to name the gifts in our life, including people, places, certain aspects of our jobs, and hobbies. The Examen invites us to spend our time involved in things where we can give and receive love.

Reflect on the question: What helps me give and receive more love?
As I think about this, does this invite me to change certain pieces of my life?
