Lenten Resources 2012

February 20, 2012

With Lent beginning next week, I wanted to share two resources as options for your Lenten Journey.

1.  Charis Ministries Lenten Reflections: Each week during Lent, a young adult from across the country will share a reflection on the Gospel.  As I know several of the writers for this series personally, I can assure you that you will enjoy them!  Sign up here

2.  Ignatian Spirituality’s An Ignatian Prayer Adventure: Loyola Press authors Jim Manney, Vinita Hampton Wright, and Fr. Paul Brian Campbell will be offering reflections and resources for daily prayer during the 40 days of Lent.

3.  +3 Minutes:  I will be offering reflections on Loyola Press’ 3 minute retreats during Lent along with several other authors and organizatiosn.  While Lent often requires giving up something, we are encouraging people to add 3 minutes of time to their day for prayer.

What else are you using for Lent 2012 that I can share with our readers?

Becky is an Ignatian-trained spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and writer. She is the author of the Busy Lives and Restless Souls (March 2017, Loyola Press) and The Inner Chapel (April 2020, Loyola Press). She helps others create space to connect faith and everyday life through facilitating retreats and days of reflection, through writing, and through spiritual direction. With nearly twenty years of ministry experience within the Catholic Church, Becky seeks to help others discover God at work in the every day moments of people’s lives by utilizing St. Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises and the many gifts that our Catholic faith and Ignatian Spirituality provide.
