Mesa Moment: Dawn

April 5, 2011

This Mesa Moment was provided by Kiwi Nomad.  She emailed it to me with this note attached, “Just wanted to share this Mesa Moment with you. The last few days have been busy, as two of my elderly aunties died within days. On Monday morning, the day of the second funeral, I had time for a coastal walk in the town where my sister lives. Here is a view of the sky just lightly pink over the river as it headed into the sea, just as dawn broke. It was a very peaceful time, and in that silence and the beauty of the dawn, I experienced the peace I needed for the day ahead.

When has a moment in nature reminded you of God’s presence in the midst of a hard time?
