Mesa Moment: Light coming Through Trees

July 19, 2011

Light coming Through Trees, originally uploaded by beldredge.

I captured this moment in March during a trip to a cabin in the woods.  At the time, I needed to be reminded that even within “dark moments” of our lives that are full of stress, worry, doubt, and uncertainty there is always light.  For me, that light is the hope I find in my faith that reminds me that we are never alone.

Coming across this picture today was a gift as a new direction begins for us in two weeks.  While we are not certain of what the outcome will be, I trust that there will be “Light”in it, and I know that we are not alone in a moment of transition that sometimes feels like uncertain.

What are moments in your life where you needed the reminder that there is also light?
