Mesa Moment: Our Hermit Crab, Wilson, Changes Shells

February 18, 2013

We have two little creatures that are currently our only family pets. Their names are Wilson and Mumble, and they are two hermit crabs. We got our first hermit crab 2.5 years ago after a beach trip to Hilton Head Island. They are fun little guys to watch, and one of the neatest things is watching them switch shells. We very rarely get to see this happen; however, the other night Wilson kept jumping between two shells.

This was most certainly a Mesa Moment for me! It made me pause and thank God for the gift of life happening right before our eyes. I also laughed at how Wilson went about his business despite the heated discussion between Brady and Abby in the background about tying a string into a bow!

Do you have a Mesa Moment to share with us?
