Nooma Video: Today

January 17, 2012

Today, I am giving two talks at St. Joseph’s Academy’s Junior Retreat:  How are we called to live? and Who are we called to be?. I am very excited to be back at my alma mater and to participate in this retreat.  I have fond memories of the retreats I attended as a student at SJA, and they were very impactful on my faith journey.

The retreat will open with a prayer service including this video by Nooma.  The words in this video are quite powerful as it encourages us to focus on the present moment and how Jesus is asking us to take part today.  It also challenges us to let go of anything that is keeping us stuck and incapable of living our fullest life.

Please the SJA girls in your prayers today as they make their retreat!
