Sharing Other People’s Insights

November 21, 2009

On Saturday’s, I will be sharing other people’s insights and stories they have shared with me.  So, if you have something you would like me to share, email me at everythingisholynow@gmail.com.

The first thing I would I would like to share with you is a video that my friend and mentor, Charles, shared with me last week.  It is a video titled “Open” by the company Nooma.  It is a video on prayer addressing the following:

“Does God answer prayer? Some, but not all? Sometimes, but not all the time? Or does God always answer prayer and it’s just that sometimes God says no. Could prayer be bigger than God listening and answering? Maybe we need a fresh perspective on how we approach the things in life that compel us to pray.”

It is an amazing video that I have watched twice now because there are so many incredible insights in this video.  Rob Bell’s words were so powerful, I even found the transcript online to read what he said.

Thank you Charles for sharing this with me!  I hope you will share your stories of finding God in everyday life with me.  Please share your stories and comments by either commenting on the blog or emailing me at everythingisholynow@gmail.com!

Enjoy your Saturday!  Geaux Tigers!
