Happy New Year, Readers!

I hope every one had a restful and joyous Christmas Season.  I also hope that the new year allowed you time to stop and reflect on life, your priorities, your hopes, and your dreams.  I know I have been doing a good bit of reflecting myself lately.

Over the last few months, my posting has slowed a bit.  There were two reasons for this.  First, I had some abnormal blood-work that came back in early fall, and my time was wrapped up in doctor’s appointments for awhile, allowing little time to write.  Thankfully, in mid-December, my blood-work returned to normal.  While we do not have answers as to why, Chris and I are both thankful to be through that journey!

Secondly, not having the time to post on a regular basis showed me something about writing.  Instead of feeling the pressure to post on a daily basis, I have decided to spend more time writing fewer pieces.  I promise to continue to write and share with you well thought out and intentional pieces.  You will just get less posts from me!  I also hope to submit some pieces to magazines this year (one of my many New Year’s goals).

You will see my blog has a few changes also.  Since I wear many hats in ministry, I am trying to create a space that illustrates the many passions I have in ministry.  One new page you will see is titled “Mesa Moments”.  On this page I hope to post pictures of “Mesa Moments” in mine and in your life. If you have any photos of those moments, email them to me.  Also, if you have recommendations for resources, I would love to hear your suggestions.  Check the resources section often because I will be adding new items regularly.

Thank you for sharing these past fifteen months with me.  It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am continually discerning my call “within the call to write”.  Please continue to pray for me, and please continue to email me your prayer requests also!  I look forward to continuing sharing life with you!

Peace,
Becky

Thanks, Stace! It has taken a long time to give myself permission to do this…as you well know.

Thanks, LG! It has been “in the works” in my head for months. I figured it was time to put some action to it. I am glad you like the Mesa Moments. My dad inspired them!
